Bob Fields

r. Bob Field is a relatively new member of the orchestra, arriving from Connecticut after retiring as the Public Defender in Danbury, in 2010.  Bob has been playing the piano for 52 years, attending Chatham Square Music School and the Mannes College of Music in Manhattan.  He has recorded numerous CDs, written a musical about the death penalty, “Real Lawyer” which was performed in Connecticut, California, and Florida for the National Legal Aid and Defenders Association, and written a screenplay about one of his cases.  The main cause of his rise to fame in the orchestra, however, is due to marrying the conductor during the orchestra’s wedding concert last season.
